Location.. Overlooking Lake Geneva, the Abbey Resort and Fontana Spa is located on 90 acres of landscaped grounds in Fontana, Wis.
Hotel Features. The expansive destination spa was completely renovated in 2005. The resort features modern interior design elements, a well equipped fitness center with Life Fitness equipment and updated spa amenities with more than 40 services. The Abbey Resort features nine dining facilities, including a Mediterranean inspired eatery, an ice cream parlor, a cocktail lounge, two grills, a coffee shop and a snack and pizza bar. The Abbey Resort's 40,000 square foot meeting and event space comprises the Harbor Ballroom, 26 various sized event areas and the dedicated Lake Geneva Conference Center facility. A 24 hour business center, high speed Internet access and meeting facilities are also available. The Abbey Resort features a pavilion for special events and two hand crafted gazebos. The slip marina offers slip rentals, a clubhouse, scenic boat tours, water skiing, parasailing and wave runners. A fashion boutique, gift and sundries shop are also on site. Additional facilities include an indoor adult pool and whirlpool, a family pool and whirlpool, an aquatic playground pool for children and a game room.
Guestrooms. The 334 guestrooms feature custom furnishings and carpeting, patios or balconies and vaulted ceilings. Champagne colored bathrooms include marble flooring and matching showers and custom granite countertops. Rooms are also equipped with flat screen LCD televisions, high speed Internet access, refrigerators, microwave ovens, in room safes and CD clock radios.
Expert Tip. The Abbey Resort and Fontana Spa is the only full service resort in the area with lakefront property and an on site marina is the only protected marina on Lake Geneva.
